Compatible with FoodSaver brand and most other brands of vacuum packaging systems, the FoodSaver FSFSBF0849-076 combination pack of vacuum sealing rolls and bags allows for creating custom bags for storing average-sized perishable foods that may be oddly shaped, such as pork chops or wedges of cheese.
The heavy-duty, nylon reinforced wrap preserves food's flavor and freshness for up to five times longer than other storage methods when used with a sealing appliance, which means less food wasted. Designed with channels that make air removal more efficient, as well as multi ply construction that offers a superior barrier against moisture and oxygen, the bags actually prevent freezer burn. Furthermore, they can be safely used in a microwave or dropped directly into a pot of boiling water to thaw making home cooked meals a breeze. A great alternative to flimsy, landfill-clogging zip-top storage bags, the bags can be washed out by hand or in the dishwasher and reused.
