A cost-cutting and space-saving alternative to the plastic storage containers that clutter up most refrigerators, this home vacuum sealer packages food in slim bags that keep food fresher twice as long. With its aerodynamic turbo vacuum, the machine draws air out of the storage bag in less than one minute and, using its patented MultiSeal three-wire sealing system, seals air out permanently so food retains its texture, flavor, and nutrients without spoiling as quickly. A unique heat selector switch adjusts to three different sealing temperatures, depending on the thickness of bag being sealed. In addition to the Freshlock system-compatible bags, the heat setting can be adjusted to reseal store packaging, such as plastic bags of potato chips, pasta, or sugar.
